Does anyone recognize WHERE it was taken? It looks like a tower in the background and I can't place the water. The fences look right. The background has two story houses and we don't have many here. "THEY" don't usually allow gators that size around here.

It's the MMP at Brownwood. Larry has been there for years, and yes, its a BIG gator. Not sure where you see two story houses, and the small water tower is at one of the entrances to Brownwood.

Larry needs to be removed to a place away from humans before something bad happens.

I've worked at golf courses on which there were gators. When they got to be a certain size, they would remove them to places away from development. A gator that size can kill an adult human. Both the residents and Larry would be better off he he were to be relocated to an area that has not ben touched by humans.

Larry is making TVs known all around.

Which begs the question.....how many humans have been killed by gators in TV? If you give them respect they will leave you alone....we play golf a couple times a week, and fortunately we are starting to see them on the courses again. Enjoy the wildlife we have here, all the wildlife.

None as far as I am aware.

Lots more by falls from golf carts by people acting irresponsibly in some way or another.

You cannot fix stupid though as I remember they had to get rid of one gator at John Chestnut Senior Park on Lake Tarpon which was by a pond. Japanese tourists were sitting on it and taking one another's pictures!!! Pinellas County, Florida, Park & Conservation Resources - John Chesnut Sr. Park

I love that he has a Facebook page. Does he have a Twitter account? There are many "novelty" Twitter accounts. Larry looks like a good candidate.

You know that was a story on the Orlando news station. NBC I believe. And Facebook picked it up as well. Or many people on Facebook.

They don't relocate gators in The Villages to a remote area.
Sadly, I've heard that they call a trapper which results in a dead gator.
I hope that isn't Larry's fate.

Statewide Nuisance Alligator Program | Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission

If you read between the lines you see here that the State kills the nuisance gators. They do give their reasoning here.
