I respect your opinion, but after trying it twice, there won't be a third visit by me. IMHO, Chinese food is like pizza, very much an individual preference. I prefer to find out about cleanliness and service, then judge the food for myself. Enjoy it though!

This place has historically been hammered.
After a year of avoidance, we figured we would try again and we were pleasantly surprised.




I heard a Chinese place at Colony is good............have not been there yet...............any reviews on that place???

I haven't tried the place at Colony, but we occasionally get carry-out/delivery from China Wok (Grand Traverse) and like it.

We love the carry out at China Gourmet in Colony. Some of our favorites include Fried Dumpling, Wonton Soup, Hot & Sour Soup, House Lo Mein, Shredded Beef w/String Beans, Four Seasons, Triple Crown and the Hunan Delicacy. We usually ask for extra spice. But, as Trayderjoe points out, Chinese food is very much an individual preference.
