Has anyone eaten at the Bangkok Bistro in Leesburg? We are looking for a good Thai restaurant now that Siam Orchid closed.

I can answer my own post. Four of us had dinner at the Bangkok Bistro this past week. The place is not fancy, more like a luncheonette type of place, but the food was great. Good size portions at a reasonable price. It is located across the street from the Ramshackle Cafe, in the Econolodge parking lot. If you enjoy authentic Thai food do not be put off by the surroundings. We will be returning very soon. We lived in Lowell, MA and have searched high and low for some of the dishes served at the Bangkok bistro. We were distraught when Siam Orchid closed and have searched for an alternative to the other Thai restaurant in TV.

I have to agree 100% with ncr - we went there last night with another couple and had a great meal! The atmosphere is simple - but the food was excellent. If you are mourning the loss of the wonderful Thai food from Siam Orchid like we are, please give Bangkok Bistro a try. I know that we also will be returning very soon!
