is the issue of this thread. Just read an article about President Obama's base and saw the new DNC add with the President calling out by name in the DNC video, hispanics and blacks to come out and vote. Sort of unusual to be that specific in my opinion, but that is what this President is about....

In any case the article broke down the Presidents base from the last election and he actually LOST the election with folks over 40 years old.

It is interesting to note the following...

In 2004 white voters were 77% of the electorate.

In 2006 white voters were 79% of the electorate

In 2008 white voters were 74% of the electorate.

Before anyone comes on and calls me a racist, they do keep stats on that and in this case, it is very very relative.
