Weichens preserve
 

Does anyone know what happen today at the preserve near bells glade. Crime scene vehicle ,police , and gates were closed with yellow tape around scenic look out ?

The observation deck was engulfed in flames around 11pm last night. The other "new" site says it was "accidental" but under investigation and closed indefinitely. I don't understand how that could possibly be accidental.

I'm with you on that. I guess it could have been a cigarette or fireworks...but the fire didn't just start out of the blue.

Damn. We have all kinds of people who are envious of our good life here. I wouldn't be surprised if someone set this fire. A pox on them.

Unless it got hit by lightning it was no accident. Fires don't just spontaneously combust like that. I hope they catch whoever started it, unless it was mother nature. She gets a pass.
