Steak/Prime Recommendation
Looking to go out this weekend for a nice steak or prime rib. Any suggestions?

Being from the Midwest, I enjoy Midwest corn-fed steaks. (I sound like a NY'r food expert). I did enjoy my steak at Mark's Prime Steakhouse. Not sure if they are always good, but the night I was there, all six of us enjoyed the food.

Finding Prime Rib
You can search the Gourmet Club's data base for the words "Prime Rib".
It'll give you all the area restaurants that have it on their menu. Many only offer it on weekends. You can limit your drive in Section 3a (pull down) of the search page, then in Section 4c type in Prime Rib Hit the green SEARCH button. It also gives you member's rating of the restaurants in Stars. Wonderful resource for Villagers. :coolsmiley: Longhorn is one of our favorites. There are many others at varying price points. If you go Mark's take your big wallet. Great food and service.

Turners in Leesburg has some of the Prime Rib I have had...Saturday night only and they reservations are limited to 4 people but well worth the trip.
Bern's prices make Marks look like McDonalds but Bern's is a true experience. 18 of us were there last week....truly one of the best. |

I like the steaks at Texas Roadhouse and the Prime Rib at Outback. I just won't drive very far to eat dinner.

I have always had a good filet mignon at Bonefish, but I don't think they have a great steak selection.

I'll second Texas Roadhouse for a reasonably priced steak that you don't need to beat with a hammer to make it chewable,,,,;)
