Out with the old in with the new

The "old" can still win. Check the crowds since Tiger is back. If he wins, I can't wait to see all his critics jump on the band wagon.

I have not seen any young player win consistently like some of the older guys did. Watch Tiger today and you will see real golf.

Tiger Tiger Tiger. Why is it all about Tiger? Even the Sports page had a picture of him and he isn't in the lead; 5 other GOLFERS ahead of him.

Time to give credit to other GOLFERS. He hasn't been the number 1 golfer for many years.

My perspective?

No different than the other greats from the past....that come back to win every........ once in a while as well.

Pretty impressive what he did today given that he had several back surgeries ending with having vertebrae fused in his back. Fighting through that earns some respect in my book.

I used to love Tiger Woods. I thought he was such a role model for young kids. Then I found out he wasn't at all the person I thought he was. Still can't get past that. In my book, you can't be an ass in your personal life but "all is forgiven" in your professional life. Maybe that's just me.
