New recommendations needed.
 

We are looking for recommendations for total lawn care as well as pest control vendors in The Villages. Have had a couple of quotes from Massey but they seem rather expensive.
We would like a reliable vendor we can be on a month to month contract. We are not interested in paying for services not rendered.

Most providers have good reviews and bad reviews.


I have used Fertigator for seven years. Very happy. There are about 10 of my neighbors using them as well.


BUT..............there are a few bad reviews for them (as with all providers).

You may pay a little more for Massey but they will be there when scheduled!. I have been using them for three years and I am completely satisfied

My advice regarding pest control? Don't hire anyone! Wait and see if you really need a service.
Keep your little can of Raid under your kitchen sink and use it if necessary.
You will find a bug here or there, but this is Florida and that's common.

Don't jump the gun because everyone says you need that kind of service; you don't!

We have been using Deans since we moved here a year ago and they are thorough and reliable.

I have Deans for termite protection (For peace of mind we decided to NOT roll the dice on Termite prevention). Regular pest control I take care of with a garden sprayer and Amdro concentrate around the perimeter of the house. No bugs in 8 years. Zoysia green takes care of lawn pests with their regular treatment. It all seems to work, and all the eggs are not in one basket.
