As a newbie NFL fan in the early fifties, Marchetti was the first DEFENSIVE player I became aware of.and he was THE defensive end for many years.

And the burgers weren't bad either.

I remember growing up in Baltimore when he started some hamburger joints like McDonald's. They had a song, "Everybody goes to Gino's, cause Gino's is the place to go". For some reason, they didn't do as well as McDonald's, but I still remember the song.
