I saw Larry Jr. swimming in Larry’s pond at Brownwood this morning. He’s about four or five feet long. Just not quite the same! [ATTACH]79450

Larry

That's Larry's brother Daryl. His other brother Daryl lives up in Gilchrist. If you're old enough to remember Bob Newhart, you'll get it.

I guess Larry's brothers own those diners around here too.

Now we know why gator bites aren't on the menu.

A day after Larry was removed there were ducks, pelicans, egrets and others all over the pond. Last couple times the pond was devoid of any other wildlife. Guess the word got out to all those that would be lunch.

They were there all along. Hopefully the new gators publicity wont lead to his/her demise.

Agree. Boring! Now if you want real excitement :a040:try to figure out the different types of anole’s and geckos in you’re back yard? I have seen on occasions Mediterranean gecko, very short and thick legs compared to brown anoles.

What do they do, bring them in from Gatorland for a Villages Lifestyle Preview? They used to stock the ponds up north with Sunfish, here it's alligators!

You nailed it again.

And the quiet powers who take care of stuff here are rumored to see to the transport of alligators away from us when they reach a certain size.

Some say to other places and some say other things.

I don't hug trees or gators, but I am a fairly nice and reasonable old person.
