Appliance/Air Cond./Water Heater/Heating Insurance
 

Any thoughts whether this insurance is a good thing to have. From what I understand, there is ins. at different levels, i.e., appliances 1 - 10 yrs or 10 - 20 yrs and there is a Silver or Gold choice. Some sales agents recommend this ins. as incentive for buyers. It all sounds good---does anyone have experience with this?

We have American Home Shield. $75 deductible, if they can't fix it, they replace it.
