Looking for recommendation for lawn mower, edger repair, local and reasonable....Can you help me?

Where do you go to have your lawn mower serviced?
 

We have a John Deere lawn-mower which needs service from time to time....I know someone out there knows a good reliable lawn mower repair....We went to Highland Tractor and they charged us $90 for a general service, we purchased the mower from them and thought this was VERY high....Can you suggest someone....Thanks:wave:

I'd ask some of the mowers in your area or check at Lowe's or Home Depot. I'm sure you could get an answer from one of these sources.

I used a mobile service names A-1 Best Service that did not stand behind their service. Supposedly repaired a Shindaiwa weed trimmer but after two session of use after repairs it stopped. When I called to ask about a revisit and standing behind their work, they informed me it was only good for 30 days. Now I am not a professional lawn service, just a courtyard homeowner so two sessions is not much work for the weed trimmer yet they would not stand behind their work!

Sears usually has a lawn machine repair operation.
