Palm Tree Removal
 

We had two Washingtonian Palms reached about 30 feet and were close to the house. I went on Angi— List and was contacted by one of their approved vendors. They came and provided me with a quote for removal of both trees. $1600.00.

Came back to my senses and did a search on TOTV. 10 days later, both trees were gone and yard raked of any mess. $475.00.

Note: trust your neighbors.

I think that these online services that claim to recommend good contractors are inherently flawed. They will automatically attract bad contractors instead of good ones. That is because the best contractors do not need to join the online services, and they are not going to pay for referrals.

Hi. I believe it was you whp had a later post wherein you mentioned who it was who removed your palms but I can’t find it.

Can you tell me the name? And phone number if you have it?

Back Yard Creations cut mine down (3) Johns Tree & Landscaping did the grinding. $450 for all the work 3 trees about 30 feet tall

I had palm removed which was probably at least 35 feet tall, inside wall of court yard villa. I was afraid if would fall on neighbors house in storm due to starting to get palm trunk rot. Had Wise tree service remove it couple years ago cost me $275. Which included stump below ground level. They was gone in about hour, cleaned up, and no damage to surrounding shrubs, or wall. Same thing, was recommended by neighbor.

Thanks. Couldn’t find a listing for Back Yard, but called John’s. Apparently, he’ll do the whole job. He’s coming to give estimate next week. I’ll let y’all know how it goes. Now I CAN’T WAIT to get rid of them!
