Do you get any warranties with a new home .Like 10 year structural or do you buy one for your home .Tks in advance

It varies but, basically on new home one year on just about everything, 2 or 3 years on appliances, 30 days on plantings and 10 years on structure. But if anything goes wrong, call customer service and it may be fixed because sometimes warranties are extended. Customer service is pretty good on warranty work and helpful otherwise. In any case, always check the warranty you will be given at closing to know for sure. Most people do hire someone to do an inspection after 11 months to catch anything they may have missed.

On new homes, specific items have specific manufacturers' warranties, such as 1 or 2 years on appliances, 5 or 10 years on HVAC, 15 or 25 years on shingles, etc.

Construction defects are covered for 1 year and are remedied by calling the TV Home Warranty Dept.

With this in mind, many buyers do not hire a home inspector prior to closing. They hire that service about 10 months after closing. The inspection report is submitted to Home Warranty and construction defects are fixed before the 1-year expiration.

In most cases, including mine, they are people, you don't know and don't know their qualifications offering OPINIONS.

My, OPINION, and based on MY EXPERIENCE, I would contact the Villages Office. They have always been polite, friendly and knowledgeable. I'm certain they have something in writing that they can direct you to. I'm not an attorney but from what I think I know real estate is sort of unique-it must be in writing.

Warranties are only as good as the person, company offering the warranty. We had several issues and out builder did not try to baloney out of it. He cheerfully agreed and properly took care of it at no cost and minimal inconvenience to us.

Someone mentioned 30 days on plants. As I said in my previous post I do not know or claim to know.

However, I assume by your question that you have not yet bought.
I am a confessed plant huger. Seriously the soil in most of the villages in fact in most of this area is sandy clay loaded with limestone. We bought five years ago and I asked if I could pay to have them add organic mater to the soil and stir it in before planting-particularly, in my OPINION worth while before laying down sod. If, you can arrange to have it done at a reasonable cost, it will pay you back as long as you own the home.
