Is there something going on with Comcast? Anyone got ideas?

I lost my service here in Polo Ridge for about an hour or so earlier this afternoon.

yeah, lost the cable tv right in the middle of the Hockey Playoff game. Also, lost T-Mobile cellphone, too.

Likewise Bonnybrook was out for about an hour.

I called Comcast (1-800-266-2278) on my cell and got a message that there was an outage in this area and they were fixing it. Came back in about an hour.

There is an article in the Daily Sun on page A7. A commercial power outage damaged a key Comcast facility.

It was strange because I lost most of my stations on my non-digital sets but when I went to the Hi Def stations on my main TV they were functioning normally.

It took a while for ABC, CBS and NBC to come back on my non-digital TVs.

Yes, there is something wrong with Comcast: ridiculously high prices, marginal quality, don't give a s**t attitude and lousy customer service. Other than that, they're fine.

It's good to know that when we move to TV we won't be leaving everything behind here in VA.
