Grills

We are looking for a gas grill for our new home in Pennecamp. We have it narrowed down to either a Weber or a Napoleon. The Weber reputation speaks for itself. Does anyone have an experience woth Napoleon?

Thanks in advance.

Which grill?

I always look at Consumer Reports magazine. I like their detailed reports and I can usually make a decision after reading what they have to say.

Just an idea.

Happy grilling!

BTW We ended up buying a Charmglow last year at Home Depot. It's been wonderful!:wine:

I've had many grills over the years. I grill probably 90% of the meals we eat at home. We moved here in December and purchased a Weber Genesis from Moon's Appliances at Sante Fe Crossing on 466. I would highly recommend both. Mike at Moon's is much more knowledgeable than anyone you can talk to at Lowes, Home Depot, etc. The delivery and set up are free and Mike assembles the grill himself which gave more confidence that I wouldn't end up with something loose or missing.

We have both grills, I would highly recommed the Weber. Although our grills are charcoal, the quality of the Weber exceeds all others. Our Napolean is about 4 years old and is already rusting at the base. Believe it or not, we are still using our old Weber that is over 25 years old. ( bought the Napolean to replace the Weber but that probably won't happen)

Our grill is a Weber and is not totally gas. It is the Proforma, I think. You use charcoal, but start it with propane. There are some good grilling forums that have lots of information about the different grills.

Weber

Our Weber Grill (Genesis) is well over 12 years old and going strong. Just replaced the burners but that's to be expected. The sun does a number on the finish and cover tho!! Recommendation: Weber
