Police presence in Wildwood Sunday night
 

Was returning from Orlando around 10:15PM, coming off the Tpk. Several police cars at the 301/44 intersection with lights flashing. More on 44, blocking entrance to Powell and Brownwood. So far, nothing posted here or the other site.

Need to be police presents in wildwood every night?:ohdear:

Only at Christmas time. The rest of the year they should have a presence.. :popcorn:

Many time at night they truck the huge new precast bridge beams to the work sites. They block off the side roads to give them clearance ( they are at least as long or longer than a tractor trailer). First time I encountered this in Leesburg I thought they were blocking roads to catch a perpetrator!.....But there is always police activity going on all around the villages so maybe they were after someone....

There is an article in today's paper about a drug bust at that location yesterday
