where will TV build next?
I noticed they have not really developed the area between SR44 and the turnpike. Is there a reason they are currently only selling houses south of the turnpike? I'll be buying next year hopefully and wondering what new area/Village will be built in the next six months to a year.

They are already digging over there, look at the "More Aerial Shots" on here for photos.

There are many nice established neighborhoods, and these already have access to all of the amenities, you might want to look at resales. IMHO, contact both a Villages sales agent and a MLS sales agent and see what is available for resale you may well be plesently surprised. Also, as i have mentioned before, be cautious about "water view" lots, these demand a significant premium, and in general you have NO control of the view you will have in the future.

On the east side of Morse and south of 44 they are putting in the infrastructure for a neighborhood and beginning the build for the bridge over 44. I think that is where the Village of Chitty Chatty is going in. Terrible name but great location. Not sure when they will sell lots there, but probably after DeLuna. Your Villages realtor can keep you informed on the progress.

Can Dan Nuwlin start a class action suit ?
We've all been told buy now the build out coming never does |
Once an area opens, The Villages App gives access to a map that includes lots available. (blue home site dots)

+1 for studying the aerial/drone photo's.
Area's with streets and walls going up will be next available. Area's where they are putting in road beds and burying infra structure will be next (3-6 mo?) Area's with large piles of dirt compacting the soil will be later (6-12 mo?) Date ranges above are relative guesses from the aerial photo's and drone video's I've seen. |
Mark this as my prediction. By 2035, no 2038 the villages will be on the outskirts of Orlando. Crazy idea but, hey!

Actually many of us will be around! Those born in the 1960's are becoming more and more common!
