Does anyone know why?

From the online news site: "The station on County Road 466A at the far eastern edge of The Villages abruptly shut down last week after the longtime operator reportedly opted not to renew his lease in Florida’s Friendliest Hometown."

I understand there is gas available across 466a at Walmart.
|
Shell has been bailing out of villages property. If lucky at that location circle K might move in like they did north of 466.

Didn’t a prior thread earlier this month say it was going to be a 7-11, and the burger station owner was looking for a new home

Actually that Colony gas station is not on Villages property. TV sold that to a company in St Petersburg in 2007 for $1.5M |
Thats not a rumor....will reopen as a 7-11. No info published yet about Burgers.

1303 PASS-A-GRILLE WAY, ST PETE BEACH, FL 33706 :) They are the property owners..... ask them. :ho: |
Probably closed because of the same reasons other businesses close, not enough profit
|
More like he (the gas station owner) had an out and took it. I assume $$ was involved.
