Has anyone ever eaten at Puddle Jumpers in Tavares? Any good?

Ate there many times Good food, sit outside and watch the boats and seaplanes go by. Then take a walk up the street and see the park.

We heard so many folks tell us it was awesome, and tried it several weeks ago. It's a nice restaurant, but the food was fairly average. Service was great, indoor ambience average, outdoor view spectacular. Don't go there just for the food.

The irish pub just down the road (O'Keefe's), has far more ambience, and the food is much better. Also, if it matters, more and better beers on tap.

Puddle Jumpers is ok for a quick bite at lunchtime, burgers and the like, and to have a drink whilst watching boats on the lake.

O'Keefe's, I agree is much better for food, gotta love bangers and mash.

Behind Puddle Jumpers is a decent place for food called Tiki West Raw Bar and Grill, we went during a terrible storm and got stranded, glad we did, the food was great with a lot of Cajun and Creole food, if you like sea food this is a good bet.

Kalua Beach Bar in front of Puddle Jumpers have fantastic fish Tacos, the best according to my wifie ....:icon_wink:

We also love Tavares at weekends with live music in a number of places including all the above just about every night.

If you go on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday night try Buster Tubb´s for the music and strange atmosphere, more rednecks which we actually like, I haven't built up the courage to eat here though !
