Generators at Lowes 466a
 

Lowes on 466a just got in 50 new generators for anyone looking to purchase one.

I wonder how many will be returned if they aren't needed...lol

Disclaimer on front doors saying generators will not be returnable

That's good......a bunch were returned after Irma.....they adjusted.

Reasonable policy, no free rentals of brand new equipment.

Just what I was thinking. There will be a lot of generators returned. I wonder how many people will try to return cases of bottled water? :icon_wink:

Same type of sign was on the door at Winn Dixie in Pinellas Plaza.
No returns for hurricane supplies such as batteries, water, etc. etc.

Just wondering if Publix has the same policy about returns.

You just know there will be some that will do their best to try and return the high dollar items.

I still have 1 case of "Irma water." :D Maybe it ages like a fine wine.

As for generators, Costco will likely take them back 3 years from now. I'll bet they get a lot back.

The thing to do is to find a store that does take them back and buy one after the storm for a lower price.

I want a refund. I have purchased over $300 in groceries and supplies, 14 gals of gasoline for my generator, filled up the car and both golf carts and all we may get is 30 to 50 mph winds.

So take all your stuff and take a ride to St Augustine. I'll bet they're running low on hurricane stuff.

Maybe the ones that just went over the top of your head...... the man was being sarcastic. Why don't people understand sarcasm and sarcastic humor? Maybe it's me...... I find a lot of people, that if they don't read it in a book - don't understand it! No street sense at all. Glad I got my education in WESTPAC :icon_wink:

I would hope so. I was amazed at the amount of returns after Irma. I asked and found out since items had left store they had to be destroyed. Could not be resold or donated. All could think is why return items you can use (water, canned goods and batteries have a long life).
