FYI: Walmart grocery delivery started this week
 

This is for the Buffalo Ridge store on Wedgewood, but others in the area may also be participating.

There's a $30 minimum order, same as for their pickup service. Delivery fees appear to range from $6.95 to $9.95 depending on distance from the store and day of the week.

I've never used Insta Cart and don't know how popular that service has been here, but there are a number of Villagers who no longer drive or otherwise have limits how much they can get out to shop, so this is a nice addition to the area.

For a free first delivery, text "delivery" to 474747.

It is a nice service for anyone who may not be able to get to the store. Instacart and Shipt are two other services available, but adding Walmart to the list of stores providing delivery now makes all the big grocery stores in The Villages “accessible.”
