I did qualify for the one that just ended but was hard. I am always at the yearly limit.

Me too but had to go in for a 7th platelet donation the last quarter because my iron had been too high to donate platelets. And then it was borderline low another time but I did get to donate. Sometimes I have t wait three weeks before I can donate platelets again.

Seem to be a lot of people donating platelets now and I often see the same group of about fifteen people who rotate a bit depending upon when I go into One Blood.

I try to spread them out a bit so as to make sure I can get six platelet donations in a quarter. Sometimes miss due to illness or something else interfering. I did have to wait a month or two due to a really bad stick but this was a few years ago. And I did not yell or right away that there was a problem.
