Villages Computer Club - internet safely when travelling
 

Concerned about accessing the internet safely when travelling then come to La Hacienda 1pm on Oct 4th.
The fall season brings cooler weather but also the holiday season with many people making plans to visit friends and family. As part of these plans, travelers frequently want to access the internet while away from home. However, while on the road, many travelers are concerned about accessing the internet securely and lack a good understanding of how to do this effectively. Ted Wright will address this subject in his talk titled “ How to Keep Safe on the Internet While Traveling” scheduled for Oct. 4th, 1pm at La Hacienda. His talk will provide extensive advice on effective, secure ways to access the internet while traveling. Our meetings are open to all Villages residents and feature a 45-55-minute presentation on a subject of interest, followed by a short break for refreshments, 50-50 and door prizes. Afterward, we reconvene to answer questions members have asked our GURUs before the meeting started. Every Villager can attend one meeting without having to join but membership in the club is required after that. We urge all interested attendees to join the club for $5.00 per year.
