Clearwater beach restaurants
 

Will be staying at Clearwater beach and would like some recommendations on upscale Seafood restaurants for dinner.
Also, Has anyone gone on the Starlite Dinner cruise?

I highly recommend the island way grill just a 4 min drive from most beach hotels. It's just a little back on the causeway like your heading back to town. Just on the left at the stoplight. I also would suggest the sand pearl hotel right on Clearwater beach. Don't know anything about that dinner cruise. For a very good bowl of she crab soup try Frenchy's rockaway grill also right on the beach they serve a tasty grouper sandwich as well. Have a great time!

We recommend Frenchy's for crab claws. I have 16 people going for a sunset and dinner cruise for our 25th wedding anniversary aboard the Starlite. Nice boat and good food and service. If you want something more Casual try the Calypso Queen for lunch. Len & Mary

You are in luck! Click on cousinsmainlobster they just opened a restaurant on clearwater beach with free parking. Their food truck comes to the villages and the Maine lobster is fantastic.

We did the dinner cruise on the StarLite Majesty in July 2018. While we enjoyed the evening cruise, around sunset, the meal was nothing special.

The meals are usually secondary on evening cruises. Enough drinks beforehand makes it less noticeable though. [emoji483][emoji483][emoji483]

When and where is their food truck here?

You have to keep tabs on their website for when they are here and where. They only post a week at a time. They were in Brownwood on 7/4, they are at Wolfgang bakery on 101 occasionally and sometimes the Wildwood Community Center. They are out of Orlando. Amazing lobster rolls for 16.95 but they have bisque, chowder etc.

Heilman's Beachcomber Restaurant has been there longer than any of the others - a Clearwater tradition.

If you want to take a dinner cruise, book ahead to insure availability.

While not in Clearwater Beach, Molly Goodheads in Palm Harbor (Ozona) has a lot of local color.
