Tunnel Heights Between 466 & 466A

My wife wants to bring her 2019 Cub Onward to our Villages house and wants to make sure she clears the tunnels. It’s the Lifted Snowstorm edition with 80” to top of roof line. We heard north of 466 is not a option but we can use my Yamaha if heading that way. She just wants her own set of wheels and would rather bring her personal cart then buy another. I think the 2 main tunnels we use is St Charles at Buena Vista and Stillwater going into LSL.

Thanks in advance.

What's the question? If it's tunnel height I doubt anyone riding the trails have measured them. Saying that, since they are arched I would be very very careful.

Hopefully some people with lifted onwards or other higher roof lines can chime in. I see quite a few lifted carts in LS.

If somebody waves me on in traffic I ignore them and look for myself.

I have a raised roof on my Yamaha 4 seater. No problem south of 466 but beware north of 466.

This from TOTV in '08. Check post #3
https://www.talkofthevillages.com/fo...heights-21775/

As stated you should check with the powers that be.

Steve

Edit:
Nothing to do with the tunnel heights but I found this to be an interesting read:

Yikes! Is that a GOLF CART or a SNOW PLOW ? :D My Toyota RAV4 SUV is only 68" high and my bedroom doorway is just less than 80". ! Good luck. Maybe I'll try driving my RAV4 through the tunnel and see if it fits. :)

The tunnel is VERY "sloped" on the sides. Probably yours would fit through the middle but if someone is coming the other way that might be a problem.

Yikes is right! I can see where this will be heading. Honey just have the Roof lowered a few inches lol. From above posters link someone said tunnels south of 466 are 99” (highest) to center and the bottom of radius (lowest) is 85”
Hopefully that is correct.

Then there is this from the VCDD, Property Management FAQ's page three.

https://www.districtgov.org/departme...agementFAQ.pdf

As stated the curve of the tunnels is what you need to watch out for.
