At Jax Beach..

Here's one that's really scary. Blue Angels at 100' crossing St. Pete/Clearwater Airport during a 1976 airshow. Photo was taken from the tower, they were just above tower height. That is the PIE VOR in the middle of the airport. That treeline on the right is no longer there, it's now Feather Sound a subdivision of condos with a population of 3,500 people.

Here's a bit of history. The terminal and tower at St. Petersburg Clearwater Airport. The tower has since been demolished and replaced by a taller freestanding tower located further south. The terminal has been modernized as well.

They had to wait for me to land at the 2012 Dayton Air Show before they could fly which was probably a good thing. :icon_wink:
