The Ivy League Society

Messrs. James Umlauf, Columbia, David Matthews, Princeton, and Bruce Buck, Columbia (the “founders”), cordially invite you to join in the formation of “The Ivy League Society”, a social club for the benefit of members and their spouses/significant others who are seniors, alumni of an Ivy League school, and who live in The Villages and surrounding area. Ivy League schools include Radcliffe and Barnard. Honorary degrees from an Ivy League institution qualify for membership. Please note, this is not a fund raising activity.

Items to be discussed at the initial organizational meeting, anticipated to take place prior to year end in my home, are club name and purpose, potential club activities, frequency and type of events, and fees, if any. Ideally, the president will be elected and committee heads will be selected from attendees for the following club functions: membership, governance/legal, finance/treasury, activities/ planning.
