When we first moved here we bought the carry-out meal advertised at Bob Evans. I think it was about $50 and you pick it up at the restaurant the day before and it comes with mashed potatoes, corn, all the stuff. We found the meat was very thin and appeared to be processed meat.
I only like white meat, we discovered these small Butterball Turkeys at the grocery store and have gotten them the past 7 or 8 years. They have one that is white meat only and one that is white and dark, read the little label on the front. They're about $10 at Walmart and $11 or $12 at Publix. Then we pickup Bob Evans mashed potatoes and add canned corn and were ready to eat. It makes one nice meal for two people, then cold sandwiches that night and hot open-face sandwiches the next day. They're much smaller than one of the big turkeys, so look for this package but it's only about 3 pounds since it's white meat only and no bones. https://cdn.influenster.com/media/pr...rogressive.png |
