Trash/ Recycling Collection Affected By Thanksgiving Holiday
 

Village Community Development Districts 1-11

Villagers who live in Community Development Districts 1-11 in Sumter, Marion, or Fruitland Park counties within The Villages will not have their usual sanitation collection on Thursday, Nov. 28. Trash and/ or recycling will occur on Saturday, Nov. 30. Make sure you have all of your bags out no later than 6 a.m. If your collection doesn’t normally occur on Thursdays, then follow your normal collection schedule.

Village Community Development District 12

If your sanitation is serviced by Waste Management in CDD 12, your collection will not be affected. It will be picked up as usual, on Friday, Nov. 29.

For Villagers in the Lady Lake portion of The Villagers, trash collection will occur on Monday, Dec. 2. Whereas recycling will be picked up Thursday, Dec. 5.

Anyone in Lake County, if your collection typically occurs on Thursday, it will be picked up on Friday, Nov. 29. If you typically have your trash and recycling collection on Friday, it will be collected on Saturday, Nov. 30.
