Connecting with Other Photographers

Any recommendation on groups that are for photography? It's something I enjoy doing, and with the beautiful surroundings in TV, I imagine I'll want to take lots of photos, and I'd enjoy interaction with others in photography.

thanks...we'll be coming down soon to settle on the house. Although we'll be snow birds for now, we plan on coming down frequently.

There are two photography clubs:

I've been to some of their exhibits and some of the photography is very good.

Very nice photographs. I have always been a fan of the macro lense. I bet you could get some inspiration at the Florida Carriage Museum and Resort. It is right there next to TV. The grounds and the drive over is really beautiful. You have to go past a couple of old orange packing plants out in the country.

bk,
checked out that link, sounds like a good place to bring a camera. I'd particularly would like the horse show. Thanks for the suggestion.

The Ocala area is horse country - there is a large horse riding competition area on Hwy 19 a few miles North of Hwy 42 (near Altoona).
