Sarah's Key

Has anyone read Sarah's Key? It is really gripping. I couldn't put it down. Finished it, and have been thinking about it all day. Author is Tatiana de Rosnay. Much of it takes place in Paris and France during WW2 and the present.

Avista,
I read Sarah's Key during one of my stays in TV. I couldn't put the book down.
I loved the format of the book- going back and forth between WWII and present day. The story remained with me long after I finished reading it.
A number of book clubs have read this book. I wish I would have been able to discuss the story immediately after reading it. No one I knew had read it at the time. Glad to hear you enjoyed it too.

here's another

not yet, but just requested it from the library thanks to your post. Have you ever read "Night Sky"? Another WWII book set in Brittany, France. I loved it. Author is Claire Francis. Not a new one but a favorite of mine.

Significant other is reading it now. She says it is good and can't put it down.

just finished

reading Sarah's Key, in about 3 days, in between mowing the grass, walking the dog, sorting thru closet stuff to move to TV, and golf and tennis leagues. For me, anymore, that is pretty good. Used to be able to stay up and finish a book after working all day, but no more. (My attention span seems shorter as I get older).

Anyway, back to the book. It was really good, highly recommend it too. Anyone have any more WWII fiction suggestions? I need another book. Am down to my back-ups!

Just downloaded it to Kindle. Look forward to reading it. Thanks for the recommendation.

Just ordered the book and can't wait to read it. Heard only good things about it.
