Tooth extraction

Anyone know the cost of a tooth extraction?

I've had two back teeth pulled at Southern Trace Dental in the Southern Trace Shopping Center on 466, it's near Publix the opposite way from Ace Hardware. I had one pulled four years ago and that was $725 and one pulled last year and that was $770. There is various reasons to not let leave a hole in the gum after the extraction, so they insert a piece of bone, I believe it's from a cow, and then stitch it up and then they remove the stitches later.

there are many variables, local anesthesia or general anesthesia, length of roots, location of the tooth, infection, etc. I have used Ronald E. Caylor 2 or 3 times with great results. In each case I chose to have a bone graft for future post installation. 352-391-5550, location very close to laurel Manor rec center. highly recommended.

I had 3 teeth pulled for implants in 2011 by Dr. Caylor. He's an excellent Dr. I can't tell you the cost now as it was somehow included with the rest of it. You will get many replies on here so guess you're looking for ballpark anyway. I'm just responding to what villagetinker said as I agree with him.

Expanding on the question, what about people who choose to have dentures? If they get a whole upper or lower arch pulled - 14 to 16 teeth if wisdom teeth are still there. Are they paying $700 per tooth?
