We just closed on our house this week and during move in we were told that there is no recycling and to put all of our garbage in white or black bags.

TV recycling plan is in the process of reorganization, but in the meantime recycling is still happening. Check Sanitation Information for recycling info in your district.

When I was looking for them at Winn Dixie recently, I could not find them with the other plastic garbage bags. I asked an employee for help and she showed me where they were all by themselves near the other end of the aisle. I just shook my head.

So, if you don’t see them near the opaque tall-kitchen bags, ask for help.

I understand Fenney and that area do not have recycling unless you take it yourself to a recycling center.

i have heard recycling was put on hold due to lack of facilities. i was also told trash is being sent to burn in some kind of energy-producing plant. maybe someone knows more about this trash to energy project?

I've been buying these for about five years from Walmart, even the Walmart Neighborhood store has them, but you have to look. Twenty 30 gallon bags for $2.62, that's hard to beat. I keep the recycling can in the kitchen pantry. I also get the 39 gallon bags, 10 in a box to use for newspapers which I store in the garage in a plastic tub.

As far as recycling, yesterday in Tamarind Grove they made two trips as usual on Thursday. One trip for garbage and later for recycling.
