POP my CORN
Popcorn - I love the stuff!
Over the last several decades I transitioned from cooking in a pot with oil to air popping to prepared microwaveable bags to already popped and packaged on your grocers self. Currently consuming Trader Joe’s already popped corn in the red bag. Good stuff - tastiest already popped corn in my opinion. And I’ve tried many different types prior to TJs. I’m ready to swing back to kernel corn popped in a microwave using a brown paper bag - with a smidge of oil. I prefer white over yellow and definitely not butterfly. I’m open to small kernel. Forget jolly time - pop secret - Orville. Q: What’s your favorite kernel corn and why? |
I'm not a gourmet, but I do like the popcorn they pop at Publix and sell for $1.99 a bag.

Hummmm....Haven’t tried that one yet!

We really like Orville redenbacher ultimate butter

We like the Amish Hulless popping corn from Rural King. I love popcorn but the hulls create problems for me.

First up Amish baby white corn - small kernel, crunchy with some degree of natural taste. Will report my findings once completed.... |

I read the title of the thread
"Poop my corn" and thought....here we go again!! I'm sooo bad! Steve |
I've been using Pop Secret Jumbo Popcorn...place in brown paper bag... microwave with little oil..yummy
|
As of this moment - Amish baby white - is my top kernel.
Popped kernels are small but very few hulls and few un-popped kernels - not a strong flavored corn. Popping via microwave in brown bag no oil. Next up - black jewell...... |
