Mystic Ice Cream
 

Don't go to Mystic very often but I always consider it a special treat.
Went there last week with family down from PA. Met the new owner who seemed nice but was a little disappointed with the ice cream (specifically the butter pecan).
Has anyone noticed a decline or did I just get a disappointing batch?

Went there once. Didn't like the ice cream or the prices

We have gone a couple times for the entertainment......which we as a group of 10 enjoyed.



I just drove by yesterday and thought, "Hmmm, should stop and get one for the road." Didn't, but I should have.


Hope it was jus a bad day.

I watch the Fox 35 morning show everyday. They have a reporter who goes to a business everyday, usually something new. I think the businesses pay to be on the show, it's like a commercial but comes across as a news story. Today it was Capone's Pizza in Kissimmee, very upscale pizza place. They were at Mystic Ice Cream in Fruitland Park about a year ago.

I didn't realize but the ice cream at Mystic is laced with booze, they made sure everyone knew that. That day, they had a huge crowd, looked like mostly Villagers. It just didn't appeal to me and I never considered going.

The ice cream is very good and there are flavors without alcohol.

Not true the baileys has Baileys in it the Kahlua has Kahlua eat. One time they asked a girl for id I said really for ice cream and they said it has alcohol in it.

When I went about three years ago, I was impressed by the Lava Lamp collection.

New owners just recently.

We've gone once with a club and I won't be back. The ice cream was so bad that I couldn't even eat it. We got the non-alcohol ice cream since we like the 2 items separate! :-). Price was too high for the quality of ice cream.
