Vinyl siding painting
 

Hello neighbors! We are looking for someone to paint the vinyl siding on our patio villa. We have contacted several painters in TV and they have all said they don't do it. Please share any recommendations. Thanks!

I have seen homes with aluminum siding painted with good results but I'm not sure that you would have lasting results on vinyl.

It's been discussed a few times before. Looks like Steve Kling Painting is the best person and Sherwin Williams makes a special paint. Also a company named ReVinylized has some restoration treatments. Read some of these threads for yourself.

We don't paint vinyl siding anymore but My old house and garage in Milwaukee was painted 14 years ago and looks fine. The surface must be clean and the color has to be light. Dark colors heat up and warp the siding. Use eggshell paint and it will last for years. Len the retired half of Investment Painting Contractors.

I had Steve Kling paint my faded vinyl siding and his crew did a perfect job. I couldn’t find even one spot that they missed. Since I changed the original color I went to the ARC to get approval of my new color choice and it was OK’d. Be sure to get the job done in cooler weather ( I went with a March) and not during the summer as contraction will occur. It was worth every $.

We had Steve Kling do ours and it came out fine. They did a great job.

Steve Kling painting is the best. We had our Juniper painted any it looks like a new house. They did it all in a day and were meticulous. Great company and the Sherwin Williams guarantee is for as long as you own the home.

The whole idea of vinal siding is that it is maintenance free. I would never paint it . Have it power washed instead.....

There may be deed restrictions to consider and approval of ARC.

I bought a home in TV with bright blue vinyl siding and painters told me same thing. I removed the vinyl, had stucco installed, cost $15,000 but increased value of house over $50,000.

You can use Rhino Shield ceramic coating instead of paint.
You would never need to paint again. Do a web search you should find a vendor.
