Cost and availability of Marijuana in The Villages

My doctor has recommended that I try Medical Marijuana for a couple issues he is treating me for.

I see I can get s card for around $250 for doctor, $75 for there state and then it looks like around $100 to 200 per month.

(My doctor can not write the prescription for the MJ since he is with the VA and they are not allowed to.)

Any one here have any suggestions?

It seems a bit high, compared to just hanging out on a corner and finding some on my own. Of course with a card there is less risk.

Suggestions? Or comments? I hear the dispensaries are often out of stock since the demand is so high.

Feel free to PM me if you prefer not to comment in public.

I believe the doctors must be state certified. You might want to talk to Miracle Leaf, 2468 US Highway 441/27, STE 104, Fruitland Park, FL 34731, Phone: (352) 435-7078. I attended their open house when it opened and found the people very open on the laws. You also know that medical marijuana and the stuff you can buy on the streets are not the same stuff?

Hence the Vaping Crisis from black market sales

Although the information is a bit out of date the book "Leisureville" reported that lots of toking was going on in the Villages. There may be some clues within its pages as to how to score a stash.

Medical vs recreational vs marijuana?

No difference? Where sold and by who for what within the local laws.

Be sure of one thing before proceeding, are you getting any pain relief from the VA ? If it is an opioid they will cut you off as one has to get a urine test every 4 or 5 months. A VA Dr I have gone to elsewhere said he wished that the Government would make it legal as many would get off any opioid they have to take which is much worse. This is the law even if you get legal "M" in Florida.

GREAT NEWS - Dr Rajashekar (called Dr. Shaker) in Brownwood 674-8700 doubles as Neurologist & Intervention Pain Marijuana prescriber. Office visit is your copay. He sends RX to Truelieve on 441 & advises beware of snake oil pushers. Stuff is pricey. Be aware w/o FDA regulation, CBD oil bottle content can be anywhere from zero to 100%. The magic elixir is Bigeloil sold on Amazon. I swear by it & some friends, tool Originally designed for horses - The people I know including myself get instant relief after application.

Check out Medical Marijuana Treatment Clinic (MMTC) located on Old Camp Road Creekside Medical Center in Sumter Landing. Dr Campbell and his staff are great. Their phone number is 850-906-5000.

Medical Maryjane

Just went through this with my wife. $300 for doctor medical sign-off and application. 10% discount for vet. $80 for State permit. $200 for initial supply, drops, lotion, paste, etc. Refills VERY expensive. No smokeable products. After trying all this crap for a month it's back to advil, back patches, etc. All it really did was make her numb/wasted with the oral drops. The other stuff pretty much nothing. Back to the spinal injections.
