Just got this in my inbox:

Please help find the owners of this beautiful dog. He has no chip. He has an excellent temperament and obviously is well trained. Yard workers said that he ran down from the Glenbrook area. The dog is currently at the Werry home and is patiently waiting for its owners to come get him. Also, the Werry's have cats and are not happy with their new guest so looking for a new foster home until their owner is found soon.

The person that sent me this note told me it was posted it at petfinders. I did not know about petfinders until then. Another secret uncovered (at least to me).

The Foster parents are to be congratulated for their persistence in trying to find his owners and then very carefully scrutinizing and adoptable family. :BigApplause:Through the diligence of Joan & Wade Werry, this shephard mix was adopted by a tradesman working here in The Villages. The dog will be well taken care of and will have a few children to play with. As always, thank you all for your hard work in helping to reunite dog and his owners.

I just posted the ad. The Weery's did all of the work. Thank the Lord that there are people like them around that would take the lost pet in and find a home for him.
