Mobile Post Office at Sweet Bay

FYI - There's a mobile post office truck that's at Sweet Bay from 10-4 on Tue & Thu near Lake Sumter.

I was on my way to Lady Lake in the golf cart and when I drove thru Sweet Bays parking lot and noticed a banner hanging from the side of the truck. Upon closer investigation it revealed all the normal things of a regular post office. DUH! Saved me the trip to Lady Lake to send a package.

roflao -- It's only been there about a year now, but glad you finally discovered it.

If Tues or Thur is the day after a holiday they don't show either. Discovered that one on Tues when they weren't there. Sweetbay said for some reason they don't show up then.

There is also a Post Office in Wildwood on 301 and another in Fruitland Park on 466A. Don't know exactly where you live.

There's always the post office in The Villages across the bridge and a post office in Oxford that is usually not busy.

We just stumbled onto the mobile post office outside Sweet Bay <sweet!>

Where is the post office in TV you mention in your post? Across the cart bridge in the "historic" section?

Thanks,

Dirigo

Here's a prior thread that has info on various post offices in the area, including the one you're asking about:

The PO in Fruitland Pk (on 466A) tends to be the least busy of the three (Lady Lake, Oxford, and Fruitland Pk) mentioned earlier.
