102 in the DC 'burbs 14 degrees cooler in TV and bugless.

But it's coming.....
We had 103 last August in TV so enjoy it while you can.

After this past winter in TV :cold::cold:, I made a promise to never complain about the heat anymore, so I have no comment ;)

I am not complaining, but I can tell you there have been quite a few days where Norton, MA has been hotter than TV this summer. It was 100 degrees on Tuesday!!! Very unusual for July in MA.

To make things worse I have no golf cart for those evening rides!

Nonie is coming to Canada on Saturday to visit me. Nonie, bring your snowsuit, there is still ice on the lake! :1rotfl:

Actually, we've been having the hottest summer ever in Ontario, Canada. One heat wave after another. Some days have been in the 90s and hotter than in The Villages. But today it is a lovely cool 72.

I'm with you Nonie....came up to Long Island and had two beautiful days of 75 degrees but the temperature after that has gotten hotter and hotter....just finished two days of 100!!!! Not only do I miss TV but they have cooler temps - its just not fair!! Hope to see you back in TV.......Charlene

Somehow I find the heat in TV to be more tolerable than here in MA. Perhaps it is the open air cart rides or the constant breeze. Or just that fact that you expect it to be hot in the summer in FLA?

njbchbum 07-09-2010 02:05 PM

have been subjected to the same intolerable heat here in central maine! sign on the naples fire dept the other day indicated temp was 115 degrees! of course, ocean temp was 65 degrees - old orchard beach was packed! kids were in the lakes, too - don't know those temps. thank goodness we have a small window air conditioning unit for the bedroom window! we have gone out for rides to nowhere just to be in the air conditioned car!!! back to jersey tomorrow...where there is central air and a swimming pool!

where was this heat intensity the past few winters in the villages!

Nonie, I hate to pick on you because your always so positive and I love to read your posts. Someday I hope to meet you and when I do, you can remind you how I picked on your post. But where in h*** is Hattes? And just how hot is it there? I have heard of Hades, Greek god of the underworld and how hot it is where he resides. Maybe there is a real Hattes and it is a really hot place. If there is, please accept my sincere apology.:wave: Anyway, hope to meet you in TV sometime and enjoy your summer up North. :jester:

Just checked Weather Channel:

TV - 93 degrees, Dew Point 73 degrees; feels like 102 degrees.

Lakeport, CA - 94 degrees, Dew Point 61 degrees; feels like 94 degrees.

TV low tonight = 74

Lkport low tonight = 59

Lkport - no gators in lake.

.
