Recommend Attorney

We will possibly be buying a home that is a for sale by owner. Our last offer on a home was through a realtor and she prepared the papers for us to sign, etc. I feel we need an attorney to help us through this process. Any recommendations? Thanking you in advance.

Who is the seller using? We highly recommend Advantage Title on 466. They represented both parties in their office equally when we sold our home. They are professional, precise and the offer to purchase and closing were a seamless process. Good luck with your purchase. (They have attorneys on the premises.)

Thank you! I’ll call them.

We recently sold a home in TV, and used Tri-County Land Title & Escrow Co. on 441. The entire process from the sale contract to closing went smoothly. I called a real estate attorney initially. She told me she was too busy and recommended Tri-County. The point I wish to make is these land title companies are competent for a normal real estate closing.

I used McLin Burnsd in LSL. They have a package for FSBO buyers and sellers. They handled everything on a FSBO I bought.

OP, make sure permits were pulled for any modifications as well as ARC approvals, if not, you might be on the hook for bringing the property back into compliance.

Thank you all. I will certainly ask about permits and make sure everything is in place.
