Red Cross is serious need of donors
 

As a result of Coronavirus, over 2,700 blood drives have been cancelled across the country according to the American Red Cross! That means 86,000 less blood donations for people in serious need of it. There is also a high number of cancellations of blood donation appointments adding to the shortage of blood.

If you are able to donate, make an appointment with your local donation center!

I donated yesterday at Oneblood. It was as busy as usual.

I did platelets Monday afternoon but had a little problem with a leak from vein into surrounding tissue. So, I had to call over one of the ladies to put a stop to the donation. Have to wait a few weeks now before I can donate platelets again and longer for whole blood or other types of donations.

I have only been giving at One Blood since around 2013.
