Moving to The Villages (some day :( )

Well we purchased a home and closed the 9th of march and are looking forward to moving there. Now with everything shut down we are not sure when we will move. Everyone stay safe and healthy. We will see you someday

Welcome to the Villages! Stay safe and healthy wherever you are, we'll still be here when you make the physical move!

I would think moving would not be problem.

Selling the home here is part of it, really do not want strangers in the house till this clears up. Not going to put on market till things turn around

Congrats! Best wishes as you start living the dream.

What's happening now is only temporary and everything will open up eventually. It's better to be safe than sorry. IMHO

Welcome, atcspaul. I spent 26 years at FWA and IND.

Our Plan A was to sell our home here in CA this month but that is on hold now. How did the rest of your move go? I would think that you should be moved in by now?

Not sure when we will move. Our state on stay at home order. When this is over we will put our house in Michigan for sale get it sold hopefully then move. Really do not want people in our home until this nightmare is over :(

OP, if you are going to be delayed more than a couple of weeks, you should consider getting a lawn service, and possibly a home watch service. The lawn service is the more critical, otherwise you could be facing fines for a poorly kept property. Keep an eye on WESH television (website) and this site. My reading of the tea leaves, we will be shutdown for this month (April) as a minimum but I would not be surprised to see this go well into June, it is going to take a while to 'flatten the curve'. Also, FL CV-19 cases are not supposed to peak until end of May.
Just my thoughts.
