Polo Grounds Testing Results

I am hoping the Coronavirus testing results which started on Monday are published when available. It would be helpful to know that on a given day how many test were given and how many tested positive.
I am uncertain as to how long it takes to receive results but I would guess the initial results will be available shortly.

My hope is that we receive regular reports each day: number tested, number positive for Wuhan, number negative, number quarantined, number hospitalized, deaths, and recoveries. If we get these numbers each day, we can get a clearer picture of where we stand and where we're going.

They may not report the results for the Polo Grounds testing. So far, they are only reporting cases by county or city. It may have something to do with the HIPAA law?

I would think general stats without personal information such as name and address would be ok

Travelhunter 03-26-2020 11:09 AM

I just hope we get the information and it is not being held back
Does anyone know how long it takes to get notified after testing at the Polo grounds

skip0358 03-26-2020 11:22 AM

I was told 72 hours from testing date. Would assume later today or tomorrow for Monday testing as there not processed on site

Travelhunter 03-26-2020 11:37 AM

We should have the information soon

Tinanurse59 03-26-2020 11:53 AM

Here's the WEB Site if it's full for tomorrow then go on tomorrow morning to book for the following days schedule

UF Health Covid 19 Screening - Registration

If you go to Home | Florida Department of Health COVID-19 Outbreak and go down to the bottom of the page and click on the orange rectangles “see the report” and “see dashboard” it will give you how many tests in each county, how many positives, how many negatives, and how many deaths. The report does say cases per city, but the dashboard show how many tested.

Thank you!!

So you tested negative, so you can’t go anywhere because everything is closed, or you are now in quarantine

pauld315 03-27-2020 03:30 PM

In the paper this morning they reported that there were 2 positives out of the 120 people who were tested with symptoms, out of the country etc on the clinical side of the testing and 0 positives out of the 300 people who were tested with no symptoms on the research side of the testing. Tuesday's results should be reported tomorrow.

charmed59 03-27-2020 04:01 PM

Does anyone know if they are doing blood tests looking for the antibody when testing the research group?

Thank you for the facts. I was going to post the info but saw your post. More facts: Those who downplay the spread of the coronavirus by comparing it to flu deaths, are not understanding the huge increase in mortality, especially for those over 70. Depending on what you read at websites like CDC and WHO, the coronavirus can be 20-40 times more deadly. Even more so for those over 70. So take those flu deaths and multiply. CV is serious and can best be defeated by us all taking it seriously and not politicizing it.

I have only been going out as needed period. Everything is closed, I have what I need in house and if not ( Super Market & Mail ) I go get it & come home. Happy Hour on the Lanai and TRY and keep my distance when I do go out. It will be over some day!
