I am trying to find out if home gardeners are allowed under the new restrictions.

What new restrictions?

Yes, landscapers are designated as essential businesses per section 2B of Governor Desantis' executive order which referenced the Miami-Dade list of essential retail and commercial establishments. In the Miami-Dade list landscapers and pool care businesses are allowed (see 2u).

The reason I am asking is my brother in the Ca.Bay area said this morning his lawn mower guy is not.

I am not seeing any lawn mowing guys this morning.
My thought is they cannot get govt aid if they are still working.
We will see.

Our lawn people were here this morning.

I still see landscapers passing in front of my house with their trucks....
I don't think their are any restriction on them as of yet....

Home gardeners = lawn mowing? Not quite sure what you are asking.


If it is lawn mowing our home (and 4 others around) were mowed today and I have seen many landscapers working over the last few days/weeks around here and as others have posted it is explicitly permitted.
