Some of the golf cart gates have only a red button. Put a plastic bag from Publix over your hand when pushing the gate button and then throw away the bag after turning it inside out.

One's own cellphone has been shown to have more bacteria than a toilet seat in a outhouse at the state fair (slight hyperbole).

The point: cell phones harbor more than three times the number of germs that dirty doorknobs do. Think about that next time you hold that thing up to your face!

Two of MANY articles:
Your smartphone screen is probably disgusting. Here's how to clean it

From the attached article, if it helps us worry a little bit less, "The CDC states: 'It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object ... but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads.' I'm not sure the media is talking about this very much.

'Virus' vs. 'Bacteria' While both can cause disease, viruses are not living organisms, whereas bacteria are. Viruses are only "active" within host cells which they need to reproduce, while bacteria are single-celled organisms that produce their own energy and can reproduce on their own.
