Excellent advice. I ride a lot myself, I don't get the headphone use myself either.

And please, if you must ride in a group ride single file. I love to ride, but not in a group.

Walkers should listen to what is around them. You never know what is coming behind you. Sounds of nature are great to hear. Always walk facing the traffic.
