Sneeze cloud simulations

Some people thought I was joking about sneeze clouds in my quitting golf thread.

Here are two simulations, one indoors and one outside. If you asked me a month or two ago if I'd ever be posting about sneeze cloud simulations I'd ask you if you forgot your meds.

Six feet separation is not enough.

Not to mention when the wind blowing outside!

There are a number of cloud simulations out there, showing the coverage.

Looks like four golfers on a green or tee box could be sucking the same cloud.

Oh well............just light up another cigarette and tee-one-up.

Imagine that and people in the Villages still calling for service on their appliances because a light is out in ref or under the microwave
and my dishwasher is not drying good refrigerator is making too much noise. Putting those techs in harms way and yourself. Really people get over the nonsense.

Here's one from MIT

This was a public service announcement. I have always hated being tailgated by idiots in souped up golf carts. This may give them some pause.

That simulation makes me think we all should have been wearing masks a long time ago.

These are again a "simulation". Most people, probably 90% cover there mouth when sneezing so the simulation is not real world, plus the air vortex around any moving machine will pretty much invalidate the "simulation". Also what part of Covid-19 is spread from contact with your hands to your face from touching contaminated surfaces is not mentioned in any of the simulations. Understand the concerns but you could also under the right conditions be hit by a part falling from an airplane.

From the CDC:

The virus is thought to spread mainly from person-to-person.
Between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet).
Through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes or talks.
These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs.
Some recent studies have suggested that COVID-19 may be spread by people who are not showing symptoms.

It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes. This is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads, but we are still learning more about this virus

Bring back the "cone of silence" from Get Smart for containment. It always "worked"

I thought it was an informative post. Informative posts bring something to light, allowing others to research & review. Everyone can draw their own conclusions and act if they choose.

Thanks for tee'g it up.
