New non-cash golf policies
I have been reading about the new non-cash transaction policies in regard to golf. Perhaps I have not paid adequate attention, but I do not understand how this works in regard to executive courses and trail fees. I pay my trail fee annually. When I play on new courses south of hwy 44, I cannot drive my cart to these places so I pay a cash fee ($6 I believe) to rent one of the carts available at these 5 new courses. So what happens now??? If they don’t take cash, do I have to walk? Do they take credit cards? Do I have to pay the monthly advance trail fee, even though I‘ve already paid the annual one? Any help would be appreciated (or even jocular remarks).

They accept credit or debit cards only.
(though tips for the people who bring your bag to/from the rental cart can still be cash) |
They take only credit or debit cards. If you pay a yearly trail fee that is not added to the cart fee. I believe it was $3 per person for a cart. And the courses are in great shape.

MY husband has been playing the Championship courses. He is a priority member. He said Lopez and Glenview are in great shape. The other courses except for Havana are very good.

This is incorrect south of 44. There are no Championship courses to go to for a cart rental.
|
No championship courses in Fenney.

We arrived at Loblolly yesterday for a 3:35 tee time and were told no cash.
And no explanation that we had to call and purchase a $20 trail fee card in advance... Or walk. We went home. |
Cashless

suggest that you go direct and contact the folks in charge..... (duh) |
There are no championship courses south of 44. You can pay by credit card at the starter shack. Or call ahead of time and pay.
